Tips for Solving
- Work the "Names & Letters" clues first — they tend to eliminate the largest chunks of the 40,000-name list right away.
- Keep a running tally as you go. A spreadsheet or a printed checklist works better than memory once you're down to a few hundred names.
- Don't apply clues out of order and assume you're done — a name has to satisfy all nineteen clues, not just the first few you checked.
- Watch for hidden details tucked into the suspect lists — flowers, spices, and other small touches are easy to skim past.
